OUR STORY
Dating back as far as the Doomsday book, the buildings pub first opened in the seventeenth century and the grade two listed longhouse still boasts many of its original features.
Exposed stone walls, an original flagstone floor, wooden beams and authentic open fireplaces give the pub bags of charm and a cosy ambience. This, paired with some modern-day elements makes The Kings a traditional, yet contemporary, country pub.

When we came to the Kings in July 2018, we wanted to create the perfect environment to relax and enjoy down time, where everyone feels welcome.
We pride ourselves on providing a warm, comfortable atmosphere, good, unpretentious food and professional but friendly service.
